Rev. Joy is one of those people who work hard and makes things happen. She achieved a management position by the time she was 23, working in a small group of Supervisors overseeing 300 telephone operators. After serving on several Boards and learning the ropes of leadership, she found another passion – Sales. Selling data networks was another way to connect people and help them achieve success.
Joy bought in early that “You’ll get everything you want if you FIRST help other people get what THEY want” – Zig Ziglar Joy believes her purpose is to be of service to others and actively mentored women at the AK Covenant House for nine years, earned her Distin-guished Toastmaster Award, taught classes and coached others until she 'retired' in 2014 .
She graduated from the San Diego, CA campus of the Holmes Institute and was licensed as a Center for Spiritual Living Minister in 2019. Because she works nights as a Chaplain at the local Hospital it is best to text her at 907-268-0218 for prayer support.
Joy and her husband Keith Baldwin met in High School and have been married since 1976. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
